Prior to the apartment makeover, the client felt overwhelmed by the absence of designated spaces for her belongings, resulting in clutter spilling from room to room and creating a sense of disorder throughout the home. Without intentional systems in place, she found it difficult to know where to begin, making the space feel unmanageable, less livable, and far from enjoyable.
Through a collaborative planning process, we identified her desired outcome—a peaceful, tranquil environment where she could relax and fully enjoy her home. From there, I implemented a structured approach that included categorizing and decluttering each area, eliminating unnecessary and duplicate items, and thoughtfully selecting items for donation or disposal. Each space—kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom—was then organized with clear, intuitive systems designed to be simple, repeatable, and sustainable long term.
The result was a calm, cohesive apartment where every item has a purposeful home, allowing the client to maintain order with ease and experience her space as both functional and restorative.
